Standard Cost Effectiveness analysis of vaccination may miss important benefits of vaccination. One benefit that may be missed is herd immunity. In addition, childhood vaccination can have long term effects on cognitive and physical development that affect economic outcomes in later life, in addition to the direct health benefits to children. These papers investigate these issues.
